City Council to Have Virtual City Council Meetings

       Virtual City Council Meetings 

Welcome to the City of St. Cloud’s Virtual City Council Meeting

During the Stay-at-Home Order, the City of St. Cloud is now offering City Council meetings online. City Hall is limiting the people visiting it to limit interactions among people and prevent the spread of COVID-19. You can still submit public comments on agenda items and view our virtual meetings, all from our website, via your computer, tablet, or smartphone.

Below, you will find information for the upcoming City Council Meeting. Meetings can be viewed live or as a recording, when completed. Below the information on how to view the meeting are links to the meeting agenda and an online form where you can submit your public comments. Due to the virtual nature of the meeting, you can now submit your comments in advance and have them read into the record by a Staff member during the meeting. All comments become part of the meeting’s record.

Ways to Attend (virtually), Participate-In, or Simply View the Meeting

If you wish to participate in the virtual meeting and comment during either the Public Comment Session, Consent Agenda, Public Hearing or Council Action; To participate, please register before 4 pm Thursday, April 23rd. Register in advance for this webinar. When registering, you will be asked to select the agenda items that you wish to address. Each registrant will be given three (3) minutes to address the items they register for, including the Citizen’s Forum.

Once logged in, the meeting moderator will unmute you when you are called upon to speak. Should you decide you would like to speak to an item that you did not register for in advance, during the item use the Raise Hand feature to indicate you wish to speak. The meeting moderator will unmute you when you are called upon to speak.

If you submitted your comments, via the Online Form, a Staff Member will read into the record during the meeting, you do not need to join via Zoom, unless you may have additional comments.

  • Mail to: City Clerk, Public Comment, 1300 9th Street St. Cloud, FL 34769 
  • Comments received by 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 23rd will be read into the record during the City Council meeting.
  • In addition, those wishing to provide comment in person must come to City Hall Building B, 1300 9th Street, St. Cloud to be screened for COVID-19 prior to be transitioned to the 3rd floor for a citizen connection of the virtual Council meeting.
  • If you just wish to watch the meeting as an observer, Citizens will be able to watch the meeting live on St. Cloud TV channel 499; or on our website at www.stcloud.org/webcasts.

Participate in Zoom Meeting

Watch Meeting Live

Citizens will be able to watch the meeting live on St. Cloud TV channel 499, and on our website at  www.stcloud.org/webcasts

After the meeting is over, the recording, with closed captioning, will be posted on the City’s YouTube channel
The meeting will be available for viewing on demand the following day.
