Public Works Continues Essential Operations

St. Cloud Solid Waste Division Team members continue to start the day early each morning to maintain the City’s regularly scheduled residential and curbside collection as well as the full operational hours at the Transfer Station.
Each collector adheres to the Center for Disease Control’s (CDC) recommendation of social distancing their and that of our customers’ health.

Additionally, Engineers and Construction Inspectors continue to provide essential inspections of infrastructure systems to allow construction to continue. These inspections ensure that the public safety of the City’s critical infrastructure that allow for the public’s use of roadways, stormwater systems to channel rainwater away from buildings, and new water, wastewater and reclaim systems to come online.

Finally, Fleet Services is hard at work keeping our Public Safety  and Solid Waste vehicles operating. Receiving vehicles for scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs, they are the backbone of the City of St. Cloud’s ability to ensure public safety and health. Fleet Services gets the job done day and night, with safety as their top priority.
