The Vehicle Maintenance Division maintains city vehicles and equipment in the best working condition possible to minimize downtime due to unscheduled repairs.

Responsibilities

City mechanics maintain and repair the fleet that allows every department to provide services to our city. The ever increasing size, variety and technical complexity of our fleet requires that mechanics have wide-ranging proficiency in the areas of:

• Air-over-hydraulic

• EVT
• Gas and diesel fuel-injection engine repair
