It is not recommended that people at higher risk attend these exercise classes.  Temperature checks and pre-screening will be administered prior to entering the class.  Participants will be required to maintain 6 feet of distance between other participants.  All equipment will be cleaned and sanitized between classes.

Tuning, Toning & Talking (RESUMES OCTOBER 5)

The Tuning, Toning and Talking program is an alternate form of aerobic exercise which uses your own body weight as resistance. LIMITED TO 15 PARTICIPANTS PER CLASS
Where: Civic Center, 3001-17th Street
When: Monday and Friday
Time: 9:00 am - 10:00 am / 11:00 am - 12:00 pm / 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Cost: $1.00 per class

Stepping Out Walking Club

This program is for adults 18 years of age and older.
Where: Civic Center, 3001-17t Street
When: Tuesday and Thursday
Time: 9:00 am - 10:00 am
Cost:  $1.00 per class


This program is low-impact and is designed to improve your health, balance and reduce stress.  It’s great for the beginners and the young at heart!
Where: Marina Banquet Hall, 1104 Lakeshore Blvd.
When: Wednesdays
Time: 9:00 am - 10:00 / 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Cost:  $1.00 per class

CHAIR VOLLEYBALL (currently not available)

Chair volleyball is played with 6 players seated in chairs (or a wheelchair) on each side of the net. It is basically like volleyball but is played with a beach ball instead.

Time: 10:00 am to 11:00 am
Cost: $1 per class


Pickleball is a fun sport for everyone that combines tennis, ping-pong and badminton.  It is played on a badminton court with the net lowered to 34" at the center, using a perforated plastic baseball (similar to a whiffle ball) and wood or composite paddles.  Pickleball will not be available February 27 through March 18 (voting); June 4 through August 19 (summer camp), and October 15 through November 4 (voting).

YOGA (currently not available)

When: Mondays 9:15 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.
Thursdays 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Cost: $12.00 per class for drop ins
$54 for a 5 class pass
$108 for a $10 class pass
Classes will not be held on May 25, September 7, November 26 and December 24, 2020.
